It is a very wrong thing that I did &curtain fabric suppliers39;Manto'.The teaser and first look of # 'Sanju', which is based on the life of Bollywood's one of the most controversial stars Sanjay Dutt, was released recently and Rishi says the response Ranbir is getting for his look is because of his dedication to the craft. Like if his one film flops like 'Bombay Velvet' or 'Jagga Jassos' he has no work..Rishi said Ranbir is a risk taker and the fact that he does one film at a time makes things even tougher for him. So, it is a small gesture that I did to them.". That should be the mantra for any good actor," he said."He has a very different choice of films. Nandita was hellbent on me to do it. That is a huge risk an actor can take.

I don't think I will ever repeat this mistake. Some films will work, some won't. Sometimes he will be bad, sometimes he will be good," he said. He is looking the part. He has worked very hard for all those different parts.. Either give me an elaborate role where I am happy or else I won't do. I shouldn't be doing this. My fans complain to me why I have to do short roles.Rishi will be seen in a cameo in Nandita Das's 'Manto' but the actor said he does not like doing special appearances. The fire within you as an actor should always keep burning.Mumbai: Rishi Kapoor is quiet impressed with son Ranbir Kapoor's transformation for upcoming biopic 'Sanju', and the veteran actor says he is proud of the hard work the young star has put in for his role in the Rajkummar Hirani-directed movie.". The beige and red sofas with brown and green cushions respectively and a quirky coffee table placed before it are well complemented by the designer rug on the floor. From the family living-cum-dining area, toughened glass sliding doors open to a patio, a space that was created from the irregular shaped plot. The light that falls on the indoor plants offers the space a peaceful ambience. After much hunting, he zeroed in on five and a half cents of land at a quiet lane in Edappally, Kochi, but there the plot had an irregular shape – more like a trapezoid. When we approached him, he was more than happy to collaborate with us. The charm is irresistible. The furniture, décor and the overall appearance sport elegance. “This has turned out to be greater than we had imagined.. The TV hall houses a long grey sofa and matching rug and curtains. The biggest attraction is the living room with its double height walls and natural lighting. The 2,278-square-feet home – a grey-brown structure with plastered walls of cement texture finish – focuses on minimalism.

On the cement-plastered wall adjacent to the vertical pergola, wooden strips complement the pattern in a similar fashion.“I had in my mind a contemporary home with a lot of air, light and greenery,” says Anzal, who rummaged through magazines and social media to finally spot Shinto Varghese, a designer in Kochi. The brick-design wallpaper and posters of his favourite football players adorning the wall give a distinctive charm to the room. “We are happy about this home.Anzal decided to build a home when he felt that he had done with moving back and forth rented houses with his parents. It was perfect; everything we wanted was there in the plan – the beauty, coziness and personal touch,” he says. The grey-white-themed open kitchen on the side of the dining space also reflects the minimal style. Not just that it turned out to be perfect, but stood within the budget limits, satisfying all our conditions,” says Anzal. Shinto has kept it minimal and we have storage spaces everywhere so that nothing lies cluttered anywhere,” says Latheef.

It is about the angst of falling in love without reciprocation. It was a rousing performance calibrated like one of his glitzy, star-studded films for maximum mass impact. Many of us in the industry, including me, are caught in a time warp. It has got everything in there the good and the bad," he said. Talking about his love for film music, he quipped, "Why do you a need a therapist when you have Hindi film songs "About his shot at acting in Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet, Johar said, "There were too many gap days and too much hanging around doing nothing.About his upcoming film, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Johar said, "The film is an ode to myself without being self-indulgent.Among the other projects that Dharma Productions, which is currently gearing up for the Diwali release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, is a Dhyan Chand biopic.""Every tear that you shed (when you watch a film of mine) is a dollar in my account. I am the brand ambassador of that emotion.Speaking about his life and times as a film producer, director and entertainer, Johar was in scintillating form and brought the house down in Toronto on a wet and gloomy Saturday evening.

You weep and I laugh all the way to the bank," Karan said on a lighter not."With that goal in mind, his Dharma Productions, he said, has set up a new writing division to curtain fabric suppliers encourage the creation of original content for films. While the filmmaker lost no opportunity to underscore the increasing global relevance of Bollywood as a marker of India's global soft power identity, he also acknowledged the chinks in the armour of one of the world's most dynamic film industries."It is imperative to give screenwriters their due if Hindi cinema is to move to the next level," Bollywood powerhouse Karan Johar said at the 41st Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF)."Kapoor & Sons, bankrolled by Johar's Dharma Productions, had a gay protagonist.Johar was asked about the autobiography that is due for release next fall. Imagine for that 7-8 hours that we sleep, we are at God’s feet. Slowly, make this your habit with everything around you and eventually, you won’t even have to make efforts to imagine this as it would become your default view towards everything in this world. This is because since everything is that One alone, it becomes a reflection for everything else which it has manifested and hence whatever emotions we emanate, they reflect back on us.Sab jag ishwar roop hai, bhalo buro nahi koyi Jaki jaisi bhavana, taiso hi phal hoyi The formless divine being has taken all possible forms in this universe. The second aspect of the couplet is that whatever feelings/emotions we emanate towards others, similar emotions comes back to us. Hence, there is nothing that is good/ bad, right/ wrong because for anything to be good/bad or right/ wrong, they have to be different from each other, which in reality is not so, as everything is sourced from one origin only. For example, when we are sitting on a sofa/ chair, we must feel that we are sitting on the lap of the divine being. Sometimes the experience has been such that we have loved somebody but the other person has not reciprocated with the same kind of love.

This will have three results:We will not get upset when others hate us as we would know that what we are getting is what we gave in the past. The emotions of love which are now being emanated will not go waste and the same will be returned to us in future, in all probability, when we need it most. If we wholesale Upholstery fabric emanate love for others we will get back love and if we emanate hatred towards others, then others will hate us. Emanating good and positive emotions towards others is a profitable proposition for us as they are freely available within us..To establish in this state of oneness we can start perceiving and attributing everything as manifestation of the supreme divinity. When the other person’s negative feelings get exhausted, the good feelings that we have deposited will come back to us —hopefully, with due interest! So, irrespective of what others feel for us we should continue to feel good for them, as we are here to make profits, not losses. Similarly, when we are lying on our bed, we can feel that we are prostrating at His feet.

“My guess is that this is happening because there’s a diktat from above,” muses Bhatt.”Anurag, on the other hand, tweeted to other political parties to try and not to make this fight about political affiliations. All these factor in for the problem that the film faces right now. It’s like living with a large elephant in the room, chained and bruised, but the powers that be, want to shut out the windows and draw the curtain. “But the nexus doesn’t want you to know the magnanimity of it. Masaan filmmaker Neeraj Ghaywan too took to Twitter to show his disappointment with the CBFC, amidst reports that the board is bowing to pressure by the Akali Dal, the ruling party of Punjab. “It’s not possible that there are so many jokes, tweets and media attention given to Udta Punjab and that the I&B ministry does not know about it.” Comparing the situation to the elephant in a room, Ghaywan continued, “The CBFC ensuring a thorough censorship on the film is extremely disappointing and reinforces the nexus.”Many are of the opinion that this time around, the move is politically motivated.”.”Ashoke Pandit, filmmaker and a board member with the CBFC reacted saying, “The decision of not allowing Punjab is condemnable and a mockery of expression of a filmmaker. The CBFC no longer stands for censorship but for certification, so I don’t know why so many censorship cuts are still being made. It’s my fight versus a dictatorial man sitting there operating like an oligarch in his constituency of censor board, that’s my North Korea. “I don’t want Nihalani to play God to my films. I speak only on my behalf. During the Vietnam War, America showed a lot of anti-war films, packed with violence, and this garnered a kind of sensitivity of Americans towards the issue. Here, just the opposite is happening. Don’t colour my fight with any political affiliations, because there is none,” he said.

Either way, they have to answer to the people.Anurag has much support among filmmakers and critics alike.”Critic and filmmaker Karan Anshuman said, “Instead of tackling the problem itself, the medium of cinema is being challenged and the actual issue, the situation in Punjab, is being swept under the carpet. What does the industry have to say about this The controversy surrounding Abhishek Chaubey’s upcoming film, Udta Punjab, refuses to die down. It’s my rights versus the censorship. I think that making the Censor Board a whipping horse is something that is working for the I&B dept. The Udta Punjab team has been ordered over 80 cuts by the censor board’s Revision Committee, which includes severing the word ‘Punjab’ from its title and the film altogether. I hope the government addresses our concerns,” he fumed. “There are elections slated for next year and this is a film on the drug problem in Punjab which has a very strong link to the political structure there. I’ve only started having this problem with the censor board in the last two years. “The censor board has been going overboard for the past two years,” said critic Mayank Shekhar, talking about Nihalani. Going by Nihalani’s logic, issue based classics like Salam Bombay, which dealt with prostitution, Bombay that dealt with riots and New Delhi Times that dealt with corruption would have never released. He also added that he wasn’t given an explanation for demanding the mentioned cuts. While the censor board reportedly demanded that the movie make about 40 cuts earlier, the revision committee has not only asked for more than double the number of cuts, but has also directed that the filmmaker to drop references to Punjab entirely — including in the film’s title. “I always wondered what it felt like to live in North Korea,” he said as part of another tweet. Imagine the impact of Gandhi, the film, if the Jallianwala Bagh massacre isn’t shown but only said in words by some characters.

But definitely not all together.. Go modular and build down favourite pieces and areas that mean most to you.Personal, contextual and relevant design needs to resonate with the sensibilities of the occupant. So, unless you are fortunate to own a stretch where rooms are in excess of 400 sq feet each, don’t busy up the space. So a formal living if overly plush, and inaccessible, is no fun. No good ever came out of skipping research.Keep it simpleReady ReckonerScan the market.Gather as you go along and adorn your walls and spaces with interchangeable and interesting pieces that can have their moment in the sun ever so often. Tiresome and completely unimaginative, I urge you to say a big NO to buying out entire corner arrangements from design stores… or catalogues… they don’t speak of originality and a sense of self. Most often the engagement of a designer, goes against textile factory the very grain of what the space needs to reflect.Collectibles often have memories attached to them, and can’t be rushed into a space with a last minute purchase. Don’t go bulky and period with furniture when the space is not meant to bear heavy duty padding. Infusing several elements in a space is committing design harakiri. The process of collaboration needs to reflect the personality of the occupant whilst incorporating elements of style from a design point of view.

For examples marble floors, while lovely to look at, and to touch, stain easily unless treated.Ready ReckonerSpaces with the right blend of plain prints and textures are always a success. In an attempt to forcibly stylise spaces, one often lands up with a GUJLI at home! Your space is not meant to be Chor Bazaar stuffed up to the gills with artless antiques, obnoxious wall collages or garish paintings. Customise the space to suit your needs. And most often, they make the space look cluttered as retailers may want to showcase a lot more in a tiny space.Commissioning work with material that may not work for you, is courting trouble in the long run. Avoid these at all costs. Many meetings and a browse through collectibles to understand one’s tastes is an absolute must, before arming oneself with catalogues, looks and the like. Clean lines in the furniture often help focus on pretty surfaces.Bulking up can be a nightmare for most of us. It makes absolutely no sense in navigating through the small gaps in the fittings, with perhaps lighting akin to aircraft emergency floor path illumination or signages along the walls!Chart out a movement layout. They are not popular with those suffering from arthritis or rheumatism. The muscular bits, if any can be centred or cornered with accent pieces built around it, aiding better access and easy movement. Typically, darker colours for highlighting areas, heavy drapery or ostentatious window fittings often tends to swallow up most of the room.Ready reckonerIf your family, young kids, older friends, pets and the like are struck off from enjoying a space, this may not be the look for you.
